I'm looking for a number that is unique to each calculator. Is the serial number unique to each particular calculator or just unique to the hardware version? Also, I can get the serial number by typing help-tree-about. Is there a command that I can get this from a program?
I want a way to get a unique number to each particular calculator from a program.
Thx in advance

I discovered there is a SERIAL command that gives me the number, so that's good. Now I just need to know is this unique to each calculator?
Thx

Yes, it will be. The number is burned into the chip on manufacture.

The software emulator versions will auto generate one which will most likely be unique, but it is easy to change/modify it since its just in a file.
