Contradiction between CAS and Home - COB160 - 07-09-2017 10:12 AM In CAS mode if I type (1-e^(-1/2))/(1-e^-2) the result is (e^(1/2))^3/((e^(1/2))^3+(e^(1/2))^2+(e^(1/2))+1) wich is 0.174326466693 In home mode if I type the same (1-e^(-1/2))/(1-e^-2) the result is 0.455054233923 that is the result I was looking for. How can this be possible? RE: Contradiction between CAS and Home - toml_12953 - 07-09-2017 10:39 AM (07-09-2017 10:12 AM)COB160 Wrote: In CAS mode if I type I get 0.455... in both modes. It is correct, but why when I import the same formula in home mode, it changes the result? RE: Contradiction between CAS and Home - Freire - 07-10-2017 07:00 AM I was not able to reproduce the error either. All I get is 0.455054233923 every way I try.
