82162A printer paper? - 4ster - 11-07-2016 06:07 PM

I have been using this stuff: Office Depot thermal paper. It works well, it is whiter than my last rolls of old stock HP paper. The contrast is better. It might be a little harder to load a new roll compared to thicker HP thermal paper but it has a smoother feel. Of course, it is not recommended by HP. ;-)

HP hawked their paper as better for print head wear, but the stuff I am using feels less abrasive than the old HP paper.

I am about out of paper, can anyone recommend something better? Doing a search, I note that I can do better on price, but this is convenient for me to pick up at my local Office Depot. If there was a superior paper available on line I would order that instead.
