[Request] list of recent posts - compsystems - 05-22-2016 09:25 PM

Please place a list of recent posts (10) on the main page of the forum, I've seen this in other forums

[Suggestion]
Why not use the "View New Posts" link:
http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/search.php?action=getnew

Or, the "View Today's Posts" link:
http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/search.php?action=getdaily

the idea is to make automatically on page load, as http://www.todopic.com.ar/foros/

That's different software. Ours may not have an option to do that.

At first, I had the "view new posts" page on my bookmarks and that was my portal to the museum.
Sorry if this doesn't work for you. Sometimes the system acts differently for moderators than it does for all other members.

Wouldn't a page only showing only the last 10 posts make you check the "view new posts" page anyway to see if there is an 11th?

avoid pressing [View Today's Posts] The following page shows the post 30 last, when loading the main page, this allows for a quick glimpse of which was published today
