on button does not work - alon - 03-26-2024 02:35 PM

My on button does not work. i can't turn off my Hp prime no matter how much i try.
if u have a way to turn off the hp prime without the on button please let me know because if i want to use the hp prime now i let it fry for 12 hours before the battery is empty.

I'm not aware of a command, but the quickest way is to take out the two screws from the battery compartment and pull the battery out. But I'm curious if the ON button will then turn it back on.

You do know that 'Off' is Shift-On, right?

Since the OP has not come back, I am going to assume I was correct.

it happened to me that one day several Hp Prime keys didn't work anymore.
Reading on this forum i understood that it was possibly due to an internal cable unplugged. i opened my calc and i just ensured that the keyboards connector was firmly plugged and that's it.

i am not assuming that you have the same problem. i am just telling my personal experience.

thanks
