A manual challenge - walter b - 04-15-2014 03:29 PM

Hi all,

Seems we run into a little problem since I didn't succeed in finding a print shop which is able to produce A5-sized color spiral-bound manuals.
  • CreateSpace doesn't do spiral binding at all. Definitivly.
  • Lulu can do spiral binding, also for A5, but not in color. It does A5 paperbacks in color, however. Not quite logical, but seems to be fact for whatever reason.
Anybody having an idea where else to go? It would be a pity to drop the color ...

This print shop seems to be able to offer color A5 spiral-bound printing: http://www.printondemand-worldwide.com/
or you may check with dizzy which print shop he used for the A5 50g AUR manuals recently.

Merci Didier,

I've got dizzy's AUR - it's a b/w book Wink

But the other address seems to work. Merci encore une fois Smile

I always print A5 manuals on A4 paper, two pages per side, which is an option offered by many printer drivers. I find it works very well, as I get to see four pages at a time, and a slim A4 manual is more convenient then a thick A5. That might not be very helpful for yourself, but I just thought I'd mention it.
