See Jose Luis Tabara Carbajo YouTube Videos for Xcas. Xcas is a symbolic free software calculation program that works on Mac, Windows, Linux, Android and IOS (only the IOS version is not free). Xcas is the CAS engine that HP Prime CAS is based on.

This thread post HP Prime CAS screenshots of the Xcas implementation found in his video plus English comment of HP Prime CAS screenshots according to the Creative Commons Attribution license (reuse allowed) comment found in each video.

The top two HP Prime screen shot come from the Prime's implementation of his Xcas instructions. The lower two screen shots illustrate that p and q are CAS Vars and illustrate the use of variables p and q in 1 and 2 variable Command Line Programs - Functions. The use of Command Line Programs - Functions is useful on all HP Prime devices but especially the HP Prime Free / Lite that does not have the elaborate programming system.

In our related posts in this thread, due the usefulness of HP Prime screenshots to members becoming familiar with the HP Prime we will include all the HP Prime screens shots found in the Xcas videos rather than only showing Command Line Programs - Functions screen shots.
Addition HP Screen shots to follow. See Edit below.

Edit: Agreeing with the next post, we now have included all the HP Prime screens shots found in the Xcas videos screenshots in the main HP Prime section.

However in this part of Forum we should put custom program with their code snippets and relative help; tutorials and screenshots should be post in the "HP Prime" section of the Forum, IMHO...
