Full Version: HP-110 Plus - Missing Basic?

Hello,
just acquired a very nice HP-110 plus in very good shape apparently. Any info on how to replace the dead batteries is welcome.

Now, I "discovered" that it does not have BASIC embedded as I would expect, am I wrong?

This is what I found in the ROM drawer:
AdvanceMail (1 and 2)
Executive Card Manager (1 and 2)
1-2-3 (1, 2 and 3)
Reflection
Memomaker

How to make BASIC work? Is there anybody willing to burn a ROM/sell it for me and/or its image? Could I just load it from RAM provided I could find it? I expect gw-basic/basica/??? for 2.11 would not work, or not?

Thanks in advance.

Battery info here: http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-413...l#pid37260

The 110+ does not include BASIC.

BASIC can be found here: http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-178...l#pid15923

or PM me if you have a ROM Drawer and would like an EPROM.

I was going to point to the webpage on hpmuseum.net with the manual, but the site appears to be down. Sad If it doesn't come back up, let me know and I'll post the manual.

Dave,
many thanks for your kind answer and offer.

I already have another gentleman that offered me to provide a programmed eprom, as always this is one of the best community around, period.

Thank you also for the information related to the batteries, I still have to open it and look what is inside.

I still need to test HP-IL and serial (I got an error about it) but hope they would work.

Thanks again and stay tuned.
