Hi All,

I’ve noticed that the HEPAX Module Vol 2 documentation was previously “redone” into a nice pdf format a few years back by Diego Diaz, but haven’t seen a cleaned-up copy of the Vol 1 document.

Being slightly OCD … and wanting to spend a little time learning about the HEPAX module, I decided to transcribe the Vol 1 manual from the hard to read, image based, two-up pdf that exists into a nice one-page up, searchable pdf document, similar in style to the original and to Diego’s. I’ve tried to keep the look and feel very similar. All the page breaks are the same, and the index pages and table of contents are the same. I did make a couple of minor corrections that I noticed, and I added one table of HEPAX Function XROM numbers at the back.

I’ve attached the pdf file for sharing … if other’s might find it useful. I know that the Vol 2 is much more interesting, but having Vol 1 adds a little completeness to my documentation set. I've also submitted it to TOS.

Enjoy!
P.S. Hopefully not stepping on any copyright toes here.

Note: Updated the pdf to include the items from the Addendum.
Note2: Updated to fix a couple of minor typos. Latest Rev 1.3
Wow! Very nicely done. Smile
Thank you very much Robert.

I agree 100% !
Thanks very much Robert, a beautiful job. I had wondered if this was out there somewhere and I just couldn't find it.

I'm so glad you were curious about HEPAX. Who says being OCD isn't a good thing?
Really great and useful!

May I suggest to include the corrections from the Hepax Addendum Card (available on TOS)?
I noticed you already corrected some points but not all.

Many thanks for the superb transfer job, even if V1 is less interesting than V2 I regularly check it out so this is very useful to me.

Cheers,

Thanks a lot RobertM for your work.

Thank you Robert

Thanks for the suggestion! I meant to go back and make sure I had included those, but I seem to have gotten ahead of myself and shared before I did that.

I will take a look, and see if I can figure out how to add those addendum items without affecting page breaks ... might have to reduce some text size and line spacing for some paragraphs to fit them in.

Just updated the pdf to include the items from the HEPAX Addendum (Nov 1988) and a few other corrections. The new version has revision number on about page 4 so you know you have the most current.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I'm glad that people are finding this useful! Please feel free to let me know if you find any errors.

A remaining small mistake:
page 71: Last line in 2nd § should read: "the last address that is changed ..."

Thanks!
