I don't think I've been here for almost a decade. Been very busy, with other hobbies. Photography, aerial drones, Jeeping, and such.

This was one of my articles as a point of reference.

Question: I had to create another login, to post this. Were any of the old HPMuseum logins preserved, in going to these forums? OR did everyone have to re-register? I'd like to retrieve my old login, if that's possible.
Hi Mike

Welcome back

Me too, I've just returned after a long absence (life gets in the way at times) and also had to re-register.

Looking through old posts on the new forum, I think this was the case for everyone.

Any one heard from Norm ( Red Leeeddddsssss!)?

James
Welcome back Mike and James!

Norm (and the mysterious Capt Zener) has not been heard from in years.

We all had to recreate login ID's when we moved to this new format.
Welcome back , too.
You seem to manage your life in a same manner as me Wink. I also quit HP-Collection for about 7 years and came back 2 years ago.
I'm happy to have you back!

Matthias
Welcome back from me too.
Thanks Katie. Ah yes, Captain Zener - helped me a lot with the 34C!
Welcome back Mike, and thanks for keeping my gallery of non-hp RPNs on your site all these years.

All the help that you (and Tony Duell) used to give us members in repairing our favorite tools has been picked up by Geoff Quickfall and some able others. You can always chip in again though. You 'splain things good.

Do you still have the world's largest HP collection? Big Grin

You seemed to have the largest Curta calculator collection, if I recall, including many cut-away models, showing operation.

Well, I doubt is the largest collection, but it grew for 2 or 3 items during the last years Wink Have a look at my website, there are some changes. I also implemented a software database for HP-41, 48, 71B and soon 75C/D.
Curtas? Fantastic masterpieces, but I only own a hand of. I know people here in Switzerland who had at least 30-40 units - some might still have them (also protos what I definitivly do NOT own)
