I have an HP 12c that I bought in college at Cal Poly SLO, California between 1992 and 1994. At the time, I misplaced it before I had a chance to use it. I bought another a few days later and many years later found the one you see here which I thought was gone forever. It is fresh out of the box "new" yet a quarter century old. Even the batteries are the originals and still work. There is absolutely ZERO corrosion in, on or around the batteries or battery compartment at all. I can't explain it.
