The HPCC AGM is on the 08.10.2016 . I don't have a date for the HHC meeting, though.

At the last HHC meeting at Nashville we agreed upon a meeting at Vancouver,BC on 17/18 September. Geoff volunteered to do all the preparatory work, necessary to satisfy the committee's needs for proper contracting.
After a while Geoff indicated that the meeting would need to be postponed by one week (24/25 September) in order to enable accommodation arrangements. Now we haven't heard anything for a while. So the date is unsure - Vancouver also?
This is unfortunate, because one of the reasons for establishing the date and location so early was to keep the costs low for overseas visitors. The hope was to have the arrangements set by the end of last year. As this didn't happen, I can watch the flight fares increase weekly. As we intend to use the occasion for a sight seeing tour through BC using an RV, we have also missed the opportunities for "early bird" discount.
All in all my expected expenses are already about 400 US$ higher than they would have been with the original intent.
Although I can't expect that these things will be arranged to specifically satisfy my needs, I'm somewhat unhappy with this situation.

Holy cow! I'm Swiss, HP calculator fan since 1972, author of a dozen HP calc simulators for iPhone/iPad - but I have never heard of this Allschwil Meeting!
Can anybody enlighten me?
I am looking at the travel time and cost to attend.
Could you put more details on the starting & ending time.
I am assuming its one day only.

We're planning to have the HPCC 'mini' conference on the 10th September this year, splitting it from the AGM which will remain in October.

I would really like to meet you here in Allschwil.
Infortuantelly There is no time table yet, but general the meetin will start at about 10am and will finish with a meal in a local restaurant in the evening. So the meeting will held only on one date, but normaly there are people staying for 2-3 days.
