Calc, no battery pack.
Previously I thought this *might* have been fried from charger connection without battery pack - I have tested with 2 serial D cells, some wire and duct tape (yes while drinking beer), and the thing appears to be working.

Normally this can be repaired by the "new ACT" chip.

Found the manuals. Included with no price rise.

Found time to test this thing with 2 D batteries in serial connection. It seems to work fine, so there is a price rise. But i am open to reasonable offers.
