I've just recieved my new HP Prime 2G and I've been starting the configuration after unboxing.

When I tried to enter the current year 2019 I realiesed, that the key of the number "2" did not produce the number on the screen.

You have to press the "2" very hard to get a result. All other keys are smooth and easy to handle.

Should I send the calculator back und change it to a different one?
With my first HP Prime I had no trouble at all.
Or is this a matter of warranty, so that I have to contact hp and not the shop where I bought it?

By the way: The backside of the G2 and the cover are now frosted - it looks awesome and feels great in your hands.
I don't know how the rules are where you live, but here in The Netherlands you can just return it to the store you bought it and ask for a fully functional one. Succes!
sorry to hear about your G2; here in the UK I would return it to the seller.

I wonder if that's a new variant. I have a G2 and it looks identical to my other Primes.
Thursday evening I brought the defect calculator to the post office, Saturday I recieved a new one. Perfect service by DynaTech!

I falsly ayssumed my first HP Prime (which I don't keep at home) to be more glossy at the back, but I was mistaken. Both calculators look very similar.
