Is there a resource for line drawings of the HP48?

You may recall, 'back in the day' of the HP35, etc, the manuals would often contain simple, monochrome (blacklines on white background) depictions of the calculator keyboard. [For instance the inside covers of the HP32 or HP42s manuals.]

Granted with the 48, it may be a bit more complex (due to the colors), but I have not seen any such drawings/diagrams. I've reviewed all of the documentation (Quick Start, Users Guide, AUR, Commercial Instructoinal texts (Depew, etc.) and all journal articles) to no avail. The Quick Start and Users Guide has a couple simplified/specialized pics, but not complete. For instance, chapters 1 and 2 of the users guide has a couple partial simplified drawings, but nothing complete.

Thank you in advance,
TomC

Yes!

Thank you; we're on the right track - ideally I would like one that shows all of the text on and around the keys.

Thanks again - small steps!

you looking for 48S or 48G?
The cover of HP 48 Insights by Bill Wickes has a line art drawing of the calculator. Here's one I scanned from the 48GX version of the book; it could use a little more cleanup but it should be a good start:

And the 48SX from his S-series version of the book, also in need of a bit of cleanup:

Nice! Thanks!
