3 HP Calculator Emulators open at the same time is always best Smile
I know the feeling.

Wow - impressive, and beautiful, pictures. Presumably this is all achieved via emu48 and requires original rom dumps - meaning you have to own the original calculators...
I'll need to warm up to emulators, and by extension, calculator apps. My favorite app is the HP Prime emulator.
my desktop is too small, I can only fit one

Well done Tony!
Not much to do out in the desert, I managed to squeeze them all in...

Now here's a "classic" desktop theme.

I thought the old Intel might have a fit running them all but seems to cope.

cheers

Actually, the HHC 2018 flash drive has a directory containing many HP calculator ROM images, including some for calculators without any I/O, like the HP-14B.

In my case, I didn't use emu48, I used x48, x49gp and the Prime emulator. As for the ROM dumps, they were made freely available by HP either directly for use in emulators or embedded into an emulator (Prime). I do own the 50G, but I can't get a real 48SX/GX here in this country for an amount I can afford, and the 50G is faster and more powerful anyhow. I debated pulling the trigger on the Prime until I realised it had a lithium battery.

And how do you do rom dumps? Please explain for dummies. Will be appreciated...

The ZIP file found at the link has a 26-page PDF document that walks through the process (which requires an HP 48GX in addition to your HP17B/17BII/19BII/27S/28S/32SII/42S).
