Does anyone have a spare Battery cover for HP 82143A printer please - I lent it to someone and when it came back he'd manage to lose the plastic battery cover!
Or has anyone clever written some Gcode so I could 3D print one?
Thanks
Dennis
I have one, let me model it this week and upload to shapeways
Much appreciated
Thanks
Denny
I am also looking for one of these. Will keep an eye on Shapeways.

Regards
sorry, got delayed. 90% done, just need to add the pathways for the latches
Fantastic. I have no idea how you make such an item?

You can simply order them online from Shapeways.com. Folks (like Nate!) create 3D designs and make them available to be 3D manufactured and sold through Shapeways, for very low cost. You easily purchase through the online store, and parts are printed, shipped to you and delivered in a matter of a few days (assuming you are in USA - longer ship to other countries, or you may have other 3D Print services closer to home).

Here are 2 Shapeways shops with HP related parts, mostly all of Nate's design:

I just checked my junk box and I have two battery doors both are missing the latches, which I believe can be obtained from shapeway. If interested you may get one for the cost of postage.

Paul.
A local friend has printed one for me, complete with sliding locking buttons.
In exchange I've offered him help with some Math algorithms he needed for a program he is writing.
Now he's printing me a case for a 1970s Flip Hour Clock movement I've restored.
Got it uploaded, but not happy with the price. Cover and 3 latches (2 are needed, but I think a spare is good) about $20.
