Electronics Engineer with 15 years experience in product design.

First Programmable calculator was a Commodore PR100 in the mid 70's.

Used an HP calc since my University days.

Renewed my interest in calculators when I took a position teaching electronics at the college level.

Currently own - HP15C, HP42S (32k) HP48G, HP 82240B Printer.

My opinions:

The HP42S is the finest step programmable, 2 line display calculator ever made. The new 33S is a poor replacement.

48G is OK, but the learning curve is much bigger. Graphing is nice.

The printer is real handy for a hard copy of intermediatte results.
