Pioneer keyboard schematic

All Pioneers used the same connection pinout from 1988 to 2001 with the notable exception of one version of the 32S that had a very limited production run.
Be careful probing with a meter, the carbon film at the logic board connection points is easily scraped off. Note that a closed key is somewhere in the range of 8 to 10 kohms. Any key that has open switch leakage of 10 megohms or less will cause processor lockups. The matrix view is from the front, the connector from the back.
