HP33C help with display
Message #1 Posted by madjack on 4 Dec 2013, 8:50 a.m.

Hello to all.

the battery of my hp33c leaked and destroyed the flat cable power. I fixed that but then when I turn it on, the numbers on the display appeared without the top showing. I checked if it was bad contact pins on the display board, but not found anything. anyone have any tips?

many thanks, madjack.

That would have been my first thing to look at. Have you tried to light them using a diode tester on your multi-meter?
