HP Prime Error: Summation Upper Bound > 1000
Message #1 Posted by HP Pioneer on 25 Oct 2013, 7:27 a.m.

Entering a summation with an upper bound > 1000 returns an error?

Example: Summation of X^2 from X=1 to 1000 returns a very fast result. Increasing the upper bound to 1001 or higher returns Error: Invalid Input

Software version 2013 8 13.

Bug? Others have same issue?

That's an artificial limitation inherited from the more limited 39gII. It's likely that HP will lift it.
