PRIME Spreadsheet RPN Problem
Message #1 Posted by Dougggg on 24 Oct 2013, 8:01 p.m.

I can confirm there is a issue using with Prime set to RPN, I enter 3 Cells and either odd numbers or erros showed up in the cells, went to type another the Prime re-booted, however strangely a program, I downloaded HP_ELEMENTS now wont run when I try it gives an error "Invalid Input" but when I run check in the editor it says no errors in program, anything else to do?

Check that your settings haven't changed. When the Prime reboots like that, it is doing a reset.

All settings looked good, I did a 3 finger salute On-APPS-Esc and that got it back to normal. Strange error

Using RPN entry in the spreadsheet corrupted my flash drive, and I had to reformat it. Since then, I've been using algebraic entry mode only on the Prime.

I have similar issues with the spreadsheet before causing rebooting, luckily not corrupting the calculator this time I know I had RPN on, so algebraic is the way to go, maybe if they have RPN automatically turn off when you select an app and switch back on when you Press Home or hopefully they will find a fix

Nothing is really "saved" until the calculator is turned off. I believe this is a design choice so that if something should cause the calculator to misbehave, then using a warmstart would revert the calculator back to the most recent "good" state (presumably the state in which the calculator was left just before the last power down).
