HP Prime: What would be cool Message #1 Posted by Pete Long on 15 Oct 2013, 6:43 a.m. It would be really cool if in a future update you could use a USB OTG cable to connect and use a USB keyboard to the calculator. I tried it and the diagnostics detect a device, but alas not the calculator software itself.

Someone actually connected a HP48 to the Vernier ULI interface(1997) a much earlier interface manufactured by Vernier. Most of the old sensors work with the LabPro and Vernier has come out with a lot more sensors since the days of the ULI.

This would allow me to back up programs and data directly to the SD card, instead of my pc via the connectivity kit.

It should be possible to connect a wireless wifi dongle or an FTDI 232 chip. It would be great if a TCP/IP stack would be included or some other means to connect (cheaply) to the outside world.
