HP Prime integration
Message #1 Posted by Richard Berler on 6 Oct 2013, 1:21 p.m.

The Prime correctly integrates the general case for sin(ln(x)). When I integrate from 0 to pi, it comes up with 2 choices...a correct symbolic answer, and a numerical approximation accurate only through 2 decimal points .7860+ vs? correct .7811+

Why is that?

Graphing is fantastic! Touch screen use for analysis of interesting points on the graph is outstanding!

Thanks for your hard work, and obvious continued interesting this project!

In CAS view, I get two numerical approximations:

[.7811.. .7860..]

In Home view, I get .7811..
