Re: OT - Arduino In Space from HP41 Hacker Message #3 Posted by Luiz C. Vieira (Brazil) on 15 June 2012, 11:38 p.m., in response to message #1 by PeterP
Hi.
This is the first semester I found ways to teach my students at the local university how to program and use Arduino. The problem is that they are I.T. future professionals, and they know nothing about electronics, neither analogic nor digital. It's been a fair walk teaching them the basics in few weeks - electric parameters, measuring, components, prototyping with breadboard and so - then how to use it all with Arduino and how to program it. Programming was the easy part for them...
I asked them to propose at least a feasible project till the end of the semester, and while some of them have no idea of what to do, others are bold enough (naive enough?) proposing some time wasting designs that will not be ready till deadline.
Now you have given me some neat stuff to show them.
Many thanks for sharing! And congratulations! This is outstanding!
Best regards and success!
