Hello Malrain,

the machines are very clever:

If you put in: a) 181.249 HMS -> 181.425 and for: b) 181.253 HMS -> 181.425

What's cooking??????

You have to remember what your input means in HMS:

a) 181 hours 24 minutes 90 seconds (the third and fourth digit after the decimalpoint are interpretated as seconds)

b) 181 hours 25 minutes 30 seconds

so both have the equal fraction in hours.

Sincerely peacecalc
