15C LE Availability Update
Message #1 Posted by Bob Cortopassi on 22 Feb 2012, 6:18 p.m.

Just received this from HP SMB:

Quote:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the HP 15c Scientific Calculator US. We apologize for the delay and are working to fulfill your order as soon as possible. Orders will ship no later than Early April.

If you do not wish to wait; you may cancel your order and receive a prompt refund by calling our toll-free customer service number, 1-800-888-0292 (select Option 3). If we do not hear from you before we ship your merchandise, we will assume that you have agreed to this shipment delay.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you again for choosing Hewlett-Packard for your technology needs, and we look forward to serving you again in the future.

Sincerely,

Hewlett-Packard Customer Service/Order Management Team

This was with regard to an order I placed on 1/30 after the price on the Home & Home Office site had been raised, but the SMB site still had the $99 price. Fortunately, I already have one - but wanted to get a second unit before the price hike.

As I said before, and as long as the power supply / battery life and PAUSE issues are addressed, I think it should be called 15L: it doesn't deserves the "C" and it surely deserves the "Limited" qualification.
