HP-15c+ Firmware

Hi

I got a proto of a new HP-15c+ with the newest firmware. Does anybody has an old version of that software? I was told the original software was EXTREMELY buggy with only a max of 200 registers and a battery life when off of a month.

Are you referring to HP-15c LE? What is your firmware? The last know production firmware is 2011-4-15. -Kerem

Are you referring to the 15C Limited Edition (that's what it says on the faceplate)? If so the bugs in the latest known version are listed here including the power consumption issues.

If you are referring to an earlier version of this (before HP decided to call it Limited Edition) it's quite possible that you do have firmware with even more bugs, limited memory and worse battery life. But that hasn't been discussed on this forum to my knowledge. What's the firmware date in yours. Pressing <ON> + <g> + <Enter> then <2> then <Enter> will show the date. The latest is 2011-04-15.

Yes, I talk about the new relesed HP-15, but not hte commercial version "c LE", but hte proto version of it which is labeled "c+"... Mine is 2011-04-15 but there must be older version(s)

The 15c+ units came loaded with firmware dated 2009-08-03.

Perfect. Do you / does anybody has thi firmware as a file to programm my unit?
