AC Power Adapter for HP 67
Message #1 Posted by Phil Hochstetler (Portland, OR, USA) on 1 Dec 2011, 11:24 a.m.

I have a mint condition HP 67 that is missing its power supply. Does anyone know where I might find one? I looked on ebay but did not find any for sale. This calculator has not been powered up in 30 years and was only lightly used prior to that time.

Just keep in mind that you will also need a good battery pack to operate it safely and that probably the card reader drive wheel will need to be rebuilt.

Thanks. I did enough reading on the power supply to realize that if you try to operate it on the AC supply without a working battery, the voltage will rise high enough to damage things. Thanks for the heads up.

The HP67 uses the same DC power supply as all the Classics. It is the 97 that uses an AC supply.
