Yes it is if you login. It is a FB posting which requires a FB account to view. :)

There are many of us who despise Facebook and refuse to have anything to do with something that requires a Facebook ID.

I think my grumpy old man meter just pegged out. lol For me it's advantages just ever so slightly outweigh it's disadvantages.

What advantages? Last time I asked I was answered that I could let my friends know when I'm out for dinner or going to the toilet. I found that this wouldn't compensate for being tracked by a company. But that's probably only me.

I logged in to Facebook to see it (then I logged off and removed all FB tracking cookies). It's just a 15C case with an AT&T Death Star logo. Nothing to write home (or here) about.

An interesting AT&T 15C would play DTMF tones--it's a 15C and a blue box.

Hah! I haven't heard that Woz (or John Draper) owned a 15C, but he could certainly afforded it. :)

And the great thing is, if you refuse to have a Facebook account and login, Facebook will auto-assemble and post a profile page for you based on whatever it can find from wherever. Especially if a lot of people who know you have facebook accounts. :(

Meh. I only login to Facebook with an incognito window (Chrome) - take care of the tracking problem.

FB gets the bad rap because it is the most popular site to do this. Almost all online retailers do this. I see ads all the time on web sites advertising stuff I was just looking at from the retailer I was just looking at! Tigerdirect, newegg, dealextreme, even the place I buy car parts from! It always seems a little ridiculous to buy a ECU for my van and then to see ads for ECU on every web site I go to! I mean how many times in ones life does one need to buy a replacement ECU!!?

Yeah, it's irritating. I once bought a set of fuel injectors for my Chevrolet and started seeing ads for all kinds of random car parts. "You might be interested in: A manual transmission rebuild kit for a Honda Accord" or "500 blank Ford ignition keys." Clearly their ad-targeting software isn't that bright.
