Starting bid is $1200 and you do get a card reader (he doesn't specifically mention if the card reader works). But yes, he does seem to be asking a little much.

Cheers,

If you are looking for deals, here are a few: (sarcasm on)

How about a 35s zipper case for $199? see item 330287541548

The same seller also has the 25th anniversary 12C case for the same low price of $199.

Or how about a 10bII, broken and for parts only, for just the low starting price of $449.99? see item 280777390109

You forgot to mention the $100.00 Economy Shipping.

I guess a working 41CX with card reader is really a steal at $1,200.00 when you compare it to these other "deals"!

You forgot to mention $100 shipping charge for said broken calculator.

Obviously a joke; look at his eB** handle. His feedback so far is 12; mostly a few inexpensive DVD's.

I think that this is because the items are out of stock and he does not want you bidding on them. He specifically states that the 12C case is not available. Most of his other items are mostly reasonably priced.

Hi John, How are things down under? Even the NIB 41CX I bought a few years ago costed just $250. Maybe it's Jamaican dollars he's talking about :)

There is also an 'easy course programming book for hp11c and hp15c' on tas for 282,98$.

Since financial markets are doing crazy, do you think that old hewlett packard items are a new kind of investment?

Is it a message to me that i cannot afford this hobby anymore?

Based on these prices, the value of my collection is around 15k$...

i am rich :-)

I think this guy just made a mistake because he said in the listing that shipping was $10.
