15C LE: Emulator runs on Mac, too! :-)
Message #1 Posted by Juergen Keller on 25 Sept 2011, 12:16 p.m.

I've just installed the emulator coming with the 15C LE on my MacBook using CrossOver (the commercial Wine product), and it runs fine! :-)

Well, not much more to say, check http://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover/ or the non-commercial version http://www.winehq.org/.

From their web site:

Quote:
CrossOver allows you to install many popular Windows applications on your Mac or Linux computer. You can think of it as an emulator, but it's different, because there's no Windows OS license required. Your applications integrate seamlessly in OS X or Linux; just click and run. No rebooting, no switching to a virtual machine, and no Windows Operating System license required!

I would try Wine first, as it is free.

Thanks, just never heard of it or even needed such a program before.
