HP48G purchase from "that list site"
Message #1 Posted by Ethan Conner on 27 Aug 2011, 6:56 p.m.

Found a 48G from "that list site". It has a ding just below the display but is otherwise in very good shape. It came with all the manuals, case,pc interface cable and disk. All for 50 dollars. It has a aprox. 2 inch by 3/8 inch adhesive backed blanking plate that i have no idea what it's for. Made in Singapore. Passed the self tests of course and has clean battery terminals.

You could engrave your name into the plate. It will fit somewhere on the 48's back.

Edit: Congratulations, btw. I also got a complete set for little money (Indonesian model only, but otherwise in perfect condition). The 48G is heavily underestimated :-).

You are right about the name plate. The original owner was compelled to lightly scratch his name in the case where the name plate would be placed. After seeing them on TAS and TLS for about what i paid and being just the calc itself i felt lucky to have gotten the whole kit.
