SpeedUI 11.07 supports RainEQ
Message #1 Posted by Raymond Del Tondo on 30 July 2011, 11:07 p.m.

Hello all,

here's an update for SpeedUI.

SpeedUI 11.07 is a minor update only, but with deep impact for users of the Eqation Writer.
If RainEQ (raineq.lib) is installed, it will be used instead of the built-in EQW.
This means that existing equations will be edited in RainEQ,
and new eqations will be created using RainEQ.

The display/editing speed difference is dramatical:
The built.in EQW needs much time to display the equation,
but RainEQ displays the equation nearly instantly!

RainEQ and some related documentation is available on www.hpcalc.org .

For installation/uninstallation, please take a look into
StartHere.pdf supplied with the latest SpeedUI archive.

The new version is available here:
http://www.hpmuseum.org/guest/deltondo/speedui.pdf (Walkthrough PDF)
http://www.hpmuseum.org/guest/deltondo/sui_1107.zip (SpeedUI zip archive)

but not on www.hpcalc.org (since the site has not been updated for a long time)

Have fun:-)

Raymond

Eric updated his site six days ago. The list of additions includes SpeedUI 11.06.

Thank you for this info:-)

From now on, SpeedUI updates will also be posted to hpcalc.org again.
