"fake" 12C Message #1 Posted by robert rozee on 20 June 2011, 5:10 a.m. for your amusement, spotted this on our local online auction site here in nz : http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics-photography/Other-electronics/Calculators/auction-385788764.htm shop display versions of th 12C, missing the internals.

And it still needs to be rebuilt, and it's international shipping, which is substantial. At least the 12C housing makes some sense to replace one that is damaged, but I've never heard of a damaged card reader drive wheel.
