Ask him directly with an email off his site link and say you will buy if they are.

That's why it has a 1984 serial number, which I certainly wouldn't be selling now. :) Yes, they are the new one, but I have very limited inventory because it's such a poor seller (I typically sell one every 6 months). I have updated the description to make it clear that it is the new one.
