HP30b Naming programs

I have not seen this mentioned (of course I have not read everything on this calc either), but if you place a text message (MSG Shift-Hold-9) as line 1 of your program the program number "Prgm X" will be replaced by the supplied text.

This feature has been mentioned a few times here and used in some programs posted by users in the threads of this forum. It's also described in Gene's programming reference module here, which contains all you need to know on how to program the 30b.

Hi Katie,

Thanks for the link. I have just started playing with the 30b and have not caught up on everything out there.

Cheers,
