I own several of them but I never used them. I also have some printer wreck in the cellar, most of them with a defective printer head.
One reason for this maybe also, that I use a real HP48SX and real HP32S only under some rare circumstances. Most times I have a HP calculator emulator somewhere around.
Since end of 80ies, beginning with the HP28S, I used different PC adapters to capture the IR output directly on the PC.
Nowadays I use this adapter only to capture ROM images. The last time in October last year to capture the AA ROM image of an international 17BII.
