HP-29C Behavior that is odd!
Message #1 Posted by Jeff Davis on 7 Feb 2010, 11:18 a.m.

I have a really nice HP-29C calculator and it was working 100%. I sold it on e-bay and shipped it to France where the buyer stated that the unit was intermitent. Once the unit was returned, true enough the unit would not turn on every time the on switch was toggled. The switch from the top side looks kind of dirty down inside. Could the switch just be dirty or bad? Please let me know your thoughts.

I suggest you read the thread concerning power-on problems with the HP-19c, before you jump to conclusions.
