Happy Square-Root Day Message #1 Posted by Dave Shaffer (Arizona) on 3 Mar 2009, 2:28 p.m. The newspaper today had an article pointing out that this is "square root" day: 3/3/09 where the two 3's (month/day or day/month - works for both the US and every-where else ordering) are the square root of the year. Next one is not until 4/4/16, so celebrate while you can.

On the other hand, 1/1/01 was rather special, starting a new day, a new week, a new month, a new year, a new decade and a new century. I was near Fargo, ND, when it arrived.
