Nicotine stains on Woodstock keyboard
Message #1 Posted by Xavier A. (Brazil) on 28 Jan 2009, 10:17 a.m.

Hello,

I searched the entire archives without finding any solution to this : I am trying to clean some simple nicotine (or cigarette stains) on a Woodstock calculator, particularly on the keyboard (the keys are almost yellow). I don't want to damage it, so I don't want to try anything. Does anybody have a... solution ? Regards.

P.-S.: searching the entire archives is pretty long, according to my method (searching through archives 1 to 18 one-by-one) ; is there another one? Yes I am a newbie!

Google is your friend. Add "site:hpmuseum.org" to your search pattern.

Thank's a lot, it is a great idea, even if I don't know if Google is more my friend than my boss.

Finally I decided to wash the keyboard with some diluent for painting. It worked well. Regards.
