Preparations are going well for the HP Handhelds Conference in Corvallis this coming weekend. Details are at http://www.holyjoe.net/hhc2008/
A lively social scene is building up around the conference. If you are interested but cannot be at the conference on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September you are invited to come to one of these events. On Thursday night some of the people coming from afar will join the former Tacoma Bay group for dinner at 7pm in Ivar's Salmon House in Seattle. On Friday there will be a British pub night in Corvallis. On Monday there will be a post-conference breakfast. The latest addition is that some of the attendees will meet in the coffee shop in downtown Portland Powell's Book Store at 1pm on Monday - we shall have some HP calculators on the table for identification and will be happy to share stories from the conference! http://www.powells.com/info/places/burnsideinfo.html
