HP 48GX Brass Plate Message #1 Posted by John McCormick on 11 May 2008, 11:54 p.m. I got my HP 48GX only a few years ago in a swap for a TI 89 Titanium, and I don't intend to part with it. I've read that when new, these came with a brass plate for engraving the owner's name. Am I correct in assuming it would need to fit in the recessed area on the back above the serial number? Thanks.
