Message #1 Posted by NRB on 31 Mar 2007, 3:22 a.m.

I have a digtal cassette drive and HPIL module, and would like to test the read/write using an HP41CX. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks. - Robert

Hi,

if you have a suitable digital cassette you could insert
the cassette into the drive, then perform DIR on the HP-41.
The HP-41 should display a directory listing of the tape.

For more detail on using WRTP and READP I'd suggest to take a look
into the manual or at least the QRG for the HP 82160A HP-IL module;-)
