Angles in radians using expressions with PI??
Message #1 Posted by Alex on 16 Mar 2007, 5:02 a.m.

I am in radian mode and I want to enter a complex number using polar notation with angles expressed with PI. For example, I am trying to enter a complex number, (10[angle_symbol]PI/4). As soon as I try to enter any angle involving PI, it croaks with an "Invalid Syntax" error. Being in radian mode, it's really odd to not be able to express angles using PI. Any help is appreciated!

Sorry, for better or worse, in RPL models, "complex number" objects use only "real numbers" for their contents.

James
