HP-11C question Message #1 Posted by John M on 22 Aug 2006, 7:22 p.m. I bought a HP-11C in the early `80's. Who knew it would become a collector's item? I must admit that when I bought it, I scratched my initials in the aluminum face next to the HP badge. Have I trashed its value on eBay? At least I didn't deface my HP-42s. No. I haven't been on ebay for a couple of years, but back in '04, as I recall, a used 11C with initials and normal wear, but fully functional, probably would have gone for $50 or $75.
