42S soft cases
Message #1 Posted by Egan Ford on 19 Aug 2006, 4:22 p.m.

I have noticed two different types of 42S (or pioneer) soft cases. What are the differences? Both 42S cases I have had required break-in before it could be easily removed. Other cases look fitted and possibly thicker, but I cannot tell from pictures.

Ultimately a hard case would be preferred. (I'd pay any reasonable price :-)

I have seen many pictures online of this type of case (two sides of plastic fused together): http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230018266444&indexURL=0&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohosting

but the one I have here is more like two halves of canvas, stitched together. Haven't seen any pics of that type, though...

Never saw hard cases for the 42S (though many classmates had one, back in high school)
