Has there ever been a calculator as good as the HP-41? ;-) Does anyone make calculators with buttons that have the printing above, on top, and on the face of the button - with buttons that have as good a tactile feedback as this calculator does? What was the last HP calculator that had this style?
I believe that the 41CX (1991) was the last, with the exception of the 12C. The 12C is still in production, it has the same keys, but the newer models do not the same tactile feedback, I do not know when that changed. I think the most accurate answer to your question is the 41CX.
Personally I prefer the 42S over the 41CX. The dual-line dot matrix display makes it a more productive calculator for me. However it lacks expandability, bidirectional file transfers, and the 41CX keyboard.
