Those lucky Brazilians! Message #1 Posted by Scuba Diver on 20 July 2006, 9:13 p.m. With all the talk lately about the 50G's availability in Brazil, I thought I'd check out the HP Brazil website. I saw 2 calculators I hadn't heard of before; the 39gs and the 12C Prestige. Are these coming to North America? What exactly are they?? How is the 12C prestige different than the platinum? And is the 39gs a replacement for the 39G+? At times like this I wish I knew Portuguese!

Who knows? Maybe we will stay in Brazil. The Amazon web site has posted a page for the new HP50g. The calculator is not yet available for sale. I guess Amazon is teasing its US customers. I visit that web page about 50 times a day .... just in case. That makes me a desperate HP collector suffering from Obssessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). HELP DR. PHIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As I could see, they are the same to the USA calculators, only the colours changed. Also, the Portuguese pages are almost the English ones translation.
