How can I get my HP 49g+ to do the Factorial (!) function?

To find the factorial of 10:

10 ALPHA right shift 2 ENTER

The right shift 2 enters the ! character which evaluates as the factorial.

And if you forget the direct method of entering, remember to look for it in the CAT. It will be down near the bottom.

The character browser also shows the keystrokes when you highlight the ! charcter (another way to remember)
